Next-Level Mobility

Exchange semesters, double degrees or short programs - at WU, all students will find a program that suits them.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in sharp decreases in the number of international exchange students worldwide, a total of 456 incoming exchange students came to WU from other countries to study for one or two semesters in the 2020/21 academic year. Over 80% of these students were actually in Vienna in person. For the students who were not able to come to Vienna due to travel restrictions, all relevant courses were provided online. During the same time period, over 60% of the 406 WU students who attended international courses actually spent their time in the partner universities’ home countries.

New double degree programs

WU is pleased to be able to offer students in the Master’s Program in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control two new double degree programs. Students have the opportunity to spend a year at either the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon or the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmadabad and graduate with degrees from both WU and the partner institution. They also benefit from the unique intercultural learning experience.

Short but Intensive

Students who choose not to spend a year abroad or who are unable to do so for whatever reason can still gain international experience. WU International Short Programs (ISPs) are the answer.
