Students reported that their time abroad strengthened their subject-related, interpersonal, and intercultural skills, their self-confidence, their ability to achieve goals, and increased their social and cultural openness.

Students who have gone abroad are also more likely to embrace new learning methods. Of these students, more plan to continue on to higher levels of education than their non-mobile fellow students, and they have a clearer idea of what they want to achieve in their future careers.
