The WU Alumni Club is the first point of contact for WU graduates who want to keep up-to-date on WU and its activities and build up a network of fellow alumni. For our graduates active all around the world, we have established hubs in over 50 cities worldwide, and there are alumni representatives located across the country in seven Austrian provinces. Our volunteer hub representatives organize events and alumni get-togethers on a regular basis.
Personal contacts are the key to a good, strong network, and we maintain them carefully. In 2017, WU alumni met up at over 100 events to share their experiences. Half of these events were organized by our international hubs. At home in Vienna, we developed a series of career events offered in addition to our already well-established networking events like Alumni Tuesday and the popular art gallery tours. Developed in cooperation with the WU Executive Academy and the WU ZBP Career Center, the “WU Alumni Careers” series featured workshops on topics like Excel for advanced users and setting up an effective LinkedIn profile.
